After a day filled with hotpots, elks lounging in the meadow and birds of prey squawking around we stayed in some lovely cabins at the canyons
Lovely if you are into that one room paper-thin wall action. Yet, i would stay almost anywhere to wake up to the wonderful scene that laid before me. During twilight that first night we saw whole herds of buffalo foraging in the meadow. Then, the next day some came right up to our car, their soft eyes hovering next to my face. My father thinks they must like me or something.
So many things brought awe in that it is hard to mention them all, but there was one very special place we found while eating lunch. The lunch table was at the top of a small hill that gently rolled into a grassy meadow with a beautiful winding river running through. It felt almost like a cartoon as a gentle breeze lapped our hair a blew away the worries knotted in our backs. That moment could last a soul immeasurably. Thank you grandpa rowberry for a wonderful trip!
